You’ve implemented some helpful activities in the home. It’s now time to head to the great outdoors.

Well, almost. 

This phase has dual benefits. We train these techniques inside the house or in the garden first – they’re mentally engaging and therefore tiring, they further strengthen your bond and promote focus in the home, but we also transfer these skills out onto walks and use them as distraction and focus techniques. 

You’re not yet using these techniques around triggers; you’re building the skills so you’re prepared.
