Some of my Exploration Zone set-ups in the Scentventure Shelter at Dogwood.

I always start my 1-1 courses with a Exploration Zone session as it helps dogs relax into their new environment and feel safe there. I put out all of the equipment that we’ll be using in future weeks; scent pipes, hoops, tunnels, etc – so that dogs can get used to the sight, sound, smell and movement of them, meaning that they won’t be scary by the time we need to use them.
